Pension Harderwijk

The renovated Stadsmuseum Harderwijk has been reopened with a new interactive permanent presentation: Pension Harderwijk | rooms full of stories. Kloosterboer, in collaboration with the museum and XPEX, has developed the exhibition plan.

Over the centuries, the city of Harderwijk has been shaped and colored by the comings and goings of people from all over the world and with the most diverse backgrounds. In Pension Harderwijk you will meet some of these people. Each guest in the pension represents a special period from the city’s glorious past. Through their eyes, Harderwijk’s past comes to life. You can even expect a reaction from the characters, Rnul has created this through voice recognition, among other things. Residents of Harderwijk may recognize four of these regulars, as they are people who each contribute to the city’s community in their own way. These four Harderwijkers traveled to Tilburg, where Replicad made life-size images of them in 3D. In addition to the permanent presentation, there is an art exhibition and a new exhibition every six weeks in the museum
