Bokkenrijders 

In June, the large-scale spectacle musical rises in Maastricht. Bokkenrijders, starring Suzan Seegers, Milan van Waardenburg, Buddy Vedder, Danique Dusée, and Xander van Vledder. A unique production featuring 600 drones, 100 actors, 10 horses, and 1 goat, in a spectacular open-air setting. The grandstand for visitors is being specially constructed on the grass so that everyone can experience the spectacle up close.

The spectacular musical Bokkenrijders brings the dark, fascinating Limburg legend to life in the open air in Maastricht. Directed by Servé Hermans and Peter Noten, with the participation of 't Mestreechs Volleks Tejater.

In the eighteenth century, the grain harvest fails in Dutch and Belgian Limburg. Driven by poverty and hunger, rebellious farmers and criminals rise up against the nobility and the church.

Kloosterboer is responsible for set construction.

Bokkenrijders is on view for only four weeks, from June 3 to 27, at Stadion de Geusselt in Maastricht.
